Philippe Berger has welcomed The Haiti Village Project from the beginning and has been a critical link to the community. He is a trusted voice because he takes time to visit with and to listen to the struggles and the perspectives of all of the village citizens.  He commits to ongoing communication with The Haiti Village Project in order for us to understand how funds are being spent and managed, and to be a liaison for the needs and concerns of the community to us. 

​     A native of the village of Wozye, Philippe has four children and lives with his wife in Les Cayes, Haiti, about forty minutes by motorcycle.
